From Higurashi Daybreak Wiki

There have been several patches introduced since Higurashi Daybreak came out. The patches can change a number of things, from the damage of some attacks to increasing compatibility with graphics drivers.

Higurashi Daybreak and Higurashi Daybreak Kai are made by Tasogare Frontier and 7th Expansion.
