Oyashiro-mode is a type of Hypermode which benefits the user with increased defense and attack. The Oyashiro bar is increased by taking damage. When this bar is at its max, it will automatically activate (only in the Original version) or, in the DX Version, can be activated using the Special key (Default: S Key). Upon activation, any enemy in melee range is knocked back (deals no damage). In the DX Version only, if you activate oyashiro-mode while being hit or being knocked out, the bar will only be at 25% and last only 4 seconds.
