Higurashi News
- 2008/08/08
- A series of four games for the Nintendo DS under the collective title Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna with new story arcs are being developed by Alchemist. The second in the series, with the added title Sou, will be released in November 2008.
- 2008/08/07
- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei, the sequel to Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai is scheduled to air in Japan on 2008/12/26. It is planned to be a five-episode long OVA.

Added by KegsayThere are a total of 14 characters to choose from in Higurashi Daybreak, 16 in Higurashi Daybreak DX (Hanyuu and Natsumi are added). Each character has 3 weapons to choose from, except Hanyuu and Natsumi. The "Third Weapon" for each character are only available with the expansion installed.
